The Rumba is a Cuban dance that began with the African slaves brought to Cuba more than 400 years ago. In the USA, it was first introduced in the early 1930's. This is a stationary dance with Latin romantic and sensual hip movement that quickly became popular. It is still popular nowadays, and it is sometimes chosen as an element for a wedding dance.
